Essence Cosmetics - Salut Paris & Ola Rio |Review| EN

Inspired from four majorly famous travel dstinations around the world the new City Palettes from Essence are here and I couldn't be more excited!!! Reflecting the vibes and the lifestyle of each corresponding city today I am trying two of them which are actually are my favorites from the range...
Salut Paris

Of cource the city of lights could not be missing from any travelling themed collection... Feminine and delicate vibes with a romantic set of colours to match the parisian way of living... Classic mauvey tones and dainty pinks with a slight shine nothing overly glittery or shimmery...

The packaging is a stunner!!! Probably the prettiest of the bunch and oh so instagram-able... A romamtic design with the Eiffel Tower in the background and a vintage parisian residence all through a beautiful sun rising....

The first row is all mattes with a wide range of shades suited for a soft and diffused everyday look... You will have a couple of transition choies as well as highlighting hues that go hand in hand with the deeper colours on the second row...

I have to admit that even though the shades are a lot cooler than I personally choose Salut Paris is a trip I'd always willing to take (pun intended :P)

The pigmentation is pretty much okay across the palette with a little fallout as expected from any shimmery shade... The lighter shades tend to look alike once on the lids and I would suggest an eyeshadow base for better pay off and staying power...

Ola Rio

Now this is a fiesta!!! Palm beach, pinky golden sunsets ahhhhh.... who doesn't like that??? A expected the colour scheme of this one is bright and cheerful with lots of shimmers and pops of bolder shades...

There are not that many mattes as the previous palette which I' preferred... That said Ola Rio is absolutely beautiful and you also diffuse some of the deeper colours in order to work in the crease...

Another dissadvantage is that again there are a couple of eyeshadows that once applied don't look apart from one another... Redundant and could be done better...

Like I told you pretty bold shades mainly warm based... The orangey copper and the matte darker brown were my favorites so easy to blend and minimum fallout for the price range!!!

Overall for a drugstore price ranged product you better believe Essence blew it out of the water with the City palettes!!! Although you maaaay need to add a few bits from other products they do also stand on their own... The colour combinations are pretty spot on in regards of representing the cities... Finally, although I would have done some small changes for that price you can't complain...

That's it loves... The City palettes are already available and I would love to hear your thoughts on the comment below <3

XOXO
.....Just your typical beauty sinner.....
