We can safely say that 2019 was THE YEAR for Anastasia Beverly Hills... For the last 2-3 years, the company launches one success after the other and we keep on coming for more... But besides the endless inspiration that comes for the phenomenon called Norvina - Anastasia's daughter, ABH's president and chief beauty editor - what really shines are the collaborations with major celebrities and content creators through the years...
It all started in 2012 when ABH launched the first collabs with Amrezy and the world's most famous makeup artist - mainly because of Kim Kardashian - Mario... Later, Youtuber Nicole Guerriero cured on a 6-pan highlighter palette and then in 2017 ABH worked once more with Amrezy to create the legendary Amrezy Highlighter Powder... Flash forward to 2019 and there were not one but three collabs including my favorite drag queen Alyssa Edwards and two more Youtubers Jackie Aina and Carli Bybel...
Today I am bringing you a review for the latter...
Carli is known for her seductive blue eyes and for her beauty and fashion lifestyle channel... After being on the business for 8 years and with more than 6 million subscribers the talented Carli added a rather astonishing accomplishment in her career by designing her very own palette with ABH...
PACKAGING
According to Carli, the palette features colours and names of people and things she holds dear, including her cats' names... Like I said it contains 14 eyeshadows with mainly a cool-toned theme and a few pops of warmth... There are 5 mattes (yeah I know, only 5!!!), 6 metallics, a frosted, a satin and one micro-sparkle...
Combinations of neutral browns with luscious metallics and warm reds that can create endless makeup looks... If you are on the look-out for a cool-toned palette - since for the past few years it is warm-toned central out there - then this one is definitely for you!!!
Let's start with the first row of shadows:
According to the website, Boli and OA contain bigger glitter particles that according to the FDA regulation cannot be used directly on the lid but first on a base or a primer... Although the palette is advertised as a Pressed Pigment Palette - it does contain one pressed pigment shadow - there are no warnings on the packaging...
Moving on to the second row:
All the swatches were made without any primer or tacky base and there one swipe... The metallics are so packed in pigment they are almost wet - they remind me of Colourpop's formula - ...
FORMULA - PERFORMANCE
Of course, if you have already tried any palette from Abh you are familiar with the formula... The mattes are silky with great colour pay off but because the formula contains high percentages in pigments they tend to kick a bit of powder... The metallics, on the other hand, are so luscious and brilliant that require no primer to show up on the lids...
That being said, I would personally suggest to first complete your eye look before moving on the face... I would also like to inform you that Cindy is the pressed pigment shade and it can be used as a blush colour...
To wrap everything up, I think that the Carli Bybel Palette is such a homerun for both parties... ABH still continues to astonish us with great releases and Carli is responsible for a very beautiful and well-thought-out product... Being mainly cool-toned makes it perfect for Winter and it is a nice break from everything else out on the market right now...
You can find the palette on Anastasia's website, Sephora and all major beauty retailers... It is priced around 50€/£46 and it is limited edition...
That was all for today loves... Let me in the comment section which shade is your favorite as well as your thoughts on the palette!!!

PACKAGING
The Carli Bybel Palette features a shiny off-white packaging with printed sequins in the front... At first, I thought that it was going to be kind of a 3-D design but, unfortunately, it is only printed... Pretty and girly but not what I expected...
The inside is like any other ABH palette with two rows of 7 eyeshadows, a big mirror on the palette lid and a double-sided brush which to be honest works very well...
