Anastasia Beverly Hills - Riviera Palette |Review| EN

Is it me or do the companies lately surprise us with back to back releases??? I mean Hydro primer from Milk and then the new foundation from It Cosmetics and then of cource Anastasia Beverly Hills brought out the Riviera palette... Well I tried it and today I am sharing my thoughts with you!!!

In January ABH's daughter Norvina announced that 2019 was going to be THE YEAR for the company and ow right she was!!! Soon after the launch of the eyebrow gel lo and behold we saw the first sneak peaks of the newer addition to the eyeshadow palette family... After a couple of weeks Riviera came out as a part of the summer collection and caused massive excitement to the beauty community... But first things first... 

PACKAGING

Unlike her sisters Riviera is not made from suede but from canvas material in a beautiful summery navy blue with gold lettering in the front... Personally, I was very pleasanthly surprised by the packaging because it reminds me of gorgeous sunny beaches and coctails.... Good times huh???!!!
It also includes a nice sized mirror and a double brush...

SHADES BREAKDOWN

The fun of cource starts as soon as you open up the palette... 14 new bright shades containing 7 mattes, 6 metallics and 1 satin...  

So starting from the front row:

♥ Sails: matte white
♥ Yacht: metallic taupe with violet duochrome
♥ Seychelles: metallic aqua marine
♥ Palermo: metallic jewel pink
♥ Seaside: metallic silver with blue duochrome
♥ Inheritance: metallic gold
♥ Mediterranean: metallic sky blue

Moving on the second row that's where we are going to find Bahamas, Cannes and Palm which are pressed pigments... According to the company these three are not supposed to be used directly to the eye area because they can cause staining...

♥ Estate: matte soft peachy pink
♥ Cabana: matte mustard
♥ Coastline: matte pastel peach
♥ Bahamas: matte bright hot pink (pressed pigment)
♥ Monte Carlo: matte cool pink
♥ Cannes: matte vibrant purple (pressed pigment)
♥ Palm: matte dark brown (pressed pigment)

OVERALL THOUGHTS

I just love how different the Riviera is from the other ABH palettes!!! So funky and summery yet effortlessly elegant... Earthy shimmers and wearable everyday tones if you want an office look but with a twist of colour you got something louder!!! 
They blend like heaven with little to no fallout and they stay out for at least 7-8 hours without creasing or fading... It is available now at Sephora and all major retailers!!!
