Beauty brands seem to be dropping new goodies faster than the average consumer can acquire or test but truth be told me as a blogger I get more pumped up about some than others... You all know that finding complexion products that actually work for you is a tricky tast and when you trully discover one you take as a sign of the universe :P
E.L.F. Cosmetics is one of those brands that started off small but through the years has significantly expanded and gained our respect... Their newer addition is the 16H Camo Concealer that even claims to be a Shape Tape dupe... Is it that good though???
Packaging

Let get the basics out of the way... The packaging is a standard clear platic - quite chubby - tube containing 0.22o.z. with a large doe foot applicator - like the Tarte one - and the shade name as the bottom...

The applicator holds enough product to apply to both eyes which makes things easier and faster when you're getting ready...

Formula

The concealer claims to be highly pigmented, full coverage and matte finish... Well it is FULL coverage alright!!! Covers dark circles and spots with a single swipe... The consistent is very creamy and even though matte it does not settle into the fine lines but does need setting with a powder... Just keep in mind that of your skin is very dry you have to prep tour undereye area with a moisturizing cream or primer...

It doesn't feel heavy on the skin and it remains creaseless for the whole day if set properly... The only downside is that it sets pretty quick so you have to work fast and blend it out with your blender for a seamless look... Lastly, I want to point out that the formula oxidizes a bit so when swatching allow for drying time in order to pick your shade...

Shade Range

Sooooooo even though there are 18 shades most of them are very very light... The collection lacked diversity in medium and deeper skintone shades which imo is unacceptable in 2019... One of the pros is that the range is divided also by undertone meaning you will find your shade easier... I tried the3 following ones...

♥ Light Sand: light with neutral undertones
♥ Light Peach: light with rosy undertones
♥ Light Beige: light with golden warm undertones
♥ Medium Peach: medium with peach undertones
♥ Medium Sand: medium with neutral undertones

Overall Thoughts

The Camo Concealer gives amazing coverage and lasts pretty much all day but keep in mind that you will have to lightly set it... Also remember that oxidizes - dries down in a deeper shade - so I would suggest trying it in a store rather than online... If you are a budget beauty lover or an E.L.F. fan then it's a nice product to check out... I would like to see a shade range extention in the near future though... Overall, I really like it and have been using it for over a month and a half without having any issues... What about you loves??? Yay or nay???
let me know down below <3

XOXO
.....Just your typical beauty sinner....
